Week 9 - we have a roof line

It was hard to get a good picture of the roof line - couldn't really get far enough away. The second picture is of the back side of the house - lots of levels and interest.

Roof trusses went up this week. Good thing becasue the March rain is totally in swing.

Week 8 - growing up

Brother, our new house is tall! I mean, I knew that we were within a few inches of the height limit but now that the framing is starting to show the second floor - it is really sinking in.

We had to duplicate the back side of the house to get a permit. It makes for an interesting slant in the guest bedroom closet and a little extra roofing work on the outside.

Week 6 - Evidence of the top floor

It seems so tall now!

Week 5 - walls everwhere!

The size of the house really hit home when I walked in and it wasn't just studs (yes, Michael was with me but you know what I mean.)

This is the beginning of the window seat up stairs. Seeing it caused Michael to ask for a change - the upstairs deck is now 5 foot instead of 10 and that space is living space in the master suite - sweet!
