Mr. Thrill Seeker!
Turns out I married a bit of an adrenaline junkie - who knew. I refrained from some of the extreme rides but Michael happily indulged.
Getty Villa Art
Getty collected all kinds of art and kept it at the Villa until the Getty museum was built. Everything but the early Roman pieces went to the musuem. Still left a days worth of wonderful viewing.
January in Malibu
We had postponed our September (birthday) vacation due to the work on the house and got to take it in January - totally different weather scene. We stayed at the Grand California - duh - in Disneyland but one day we rented a car and drove to Malibu to tour the Getty Villa. It was just like being in Rome for the day.
