Week 20 and 21 - all about the exterior

We're waiting on a couple things to get done inside - plumbing mostly - so the boys are keeping busy by putting up siding. Even with just a little up, sure makes it look more like a home than just a nice shack.

The trim around the outside of the windows took some design time but the results is terrific. It's cedar so it will get a light stain and look perfect.

This is the bottom row for the siding - soon, we'll look like a house not just a box wrapped in paper.

Week 19 - Doors

The exterior doors arrived - a couple are temporary but it's so real to open a door to get into the house.
Front door and upper floor laundry - to the deck.

Main floor doors will have windows above them - more light.
