Week 18 - Under clothes show up

The Tyvek was put on this week - first step in all the exterior work that is scheduled.
And you can also see that the can lighs have been installed on the decks.

Week 17 - moving forward

There are now over hangs on both the east side doors.

We have the framing for the steps from the west deck to the back yard. What a suprise - they ended up being curve - Louise must have been involved.

Big ass rock

Michael got to dig a ditch for the gas line - oh yeah. When he got about to the level needed, he found a big ass slab'o granite. We could have just cut it but I thought it would be great if we could move it a few feet and use it as part of the landscape. Easier said than done - but it got done. Now that we see it, there are all sorts of possibilities - within a few feet of course.

Week 15 - Evidence of electricity

This is where the master bed will be - with the head board in the bay.

Wires are starting to show up.

It's hard to get a good picture of the roof from the ground - just can't get the right angle. But we now have one - yeah!

Week 14 - more stairs and roof

Basement framed in for bathroom and equipment room (for the hot water heater and such).

East door now has temporary stairs - saves a lot of wandering around the house.

Week 13 - Slow go

Not much happening at the house this week - lots of planning and decisions that can't show in a picture. We did get a couple fireplace frames done though. The roofer was working for a couple days and then took off - he'll be back, right?
